MOTHER HYDRA is an artisan pendant inspired by Tomás Hijo's haunting illustration for H.P. Lovecraft’s The Shadow over Innsmouth. Its enigmatic and unsettling design seems to shift before your eyes, evoking a sense of the ineffable and the abject. Reminiscent of the eerie jewelry bestowed upon the inhabitants of Innsmouth by the Deep Ones in exchange for their devotion, this piece exudes an aura of ancient worship and forbidden knowledge.
The original piece was sculpted using an experimental blend of wax, paraffin, and oils, then digitally reduced and reproduced in high-quality photopolymer resin infused with mica and burnt sienna earth. A meticulous finishing process with pigments, acrylics, polyurethane varnish, wax, and pearlescent mica gives the pendant an archaic appearance, as if it had surfaced from the abyssal depths, carrying with it centuries of hidden lore.

MADRE HYDRA es un colgante de autor inspirado en la inquietante ilustración de Tomás Hijo para el relato La Sombra sobre Innsmouth de H.P. Lovecraft. Su diseño, enigmático y perturbador, parece mutar ante la mirada, evocando la sensación de lo inefable y lo abyecto. Evoca las misteriosas joyas que los habitantes de Innsmouth recibían del pueblo del mar como tributo a sus dioses primigenios, imbuyendo la pieza con un aura de culto ancestral.
La pieza original ha sido modelada en una mezcla experimental de cera, parafina y aceites para después ser reducida y reproducida digitalmente en resina fotopolimérica de alta calidad mezclada con mica y tierra siena.
